THIS SITE HAS BEEN UPDATED TO VERIZON ADVANCED - SEE VENDORS -- NEW INFORMATION ON ISLAND CRUiSER AWARDS......
It started with PT Cruisers and have invited openly all vehicles (make, model and year) to our meet & greet/car show.
We are a small independent car club founded to enjoy and show our cars and make friends.
Our name originated from our feeling of being a small "island" surrounded by big organized car clubs. We have since added some of these clubs to our roster of friends and enjoy participating in their activities and welcoming their participation in our events.
When we became involved in the (PT Cruiser) car culture, the PT Cruiser phenomenon was at it's height and we would go to as many car shows a month as we could and distance was not much of a factor.
In the past two years the economy has changed and so have we...We have limited our shows and committments. We will try to continue our support to those car shows, meet & greets, parades and other functions that allow entry of PT Cruisers. (View Special event details)
In brief, you should know the following about us; our club was established in Fall of 2006 and our first Meet and Greet was February of 2007. Our focus is using our car club and associations to help a worthy cause. In December 2007 we did a charity car show for the family of a fallen firefighter of the Esparanza Fire. In August 2008 we donated funds to the YMCA of the East Valley in Redlands to help struggling families send kids to day care. On October 18, 2008 our Car Show and Food/Clothing Drive donated several bags of food and clothing. Funds were donated by the car show participants and from the No Boundries and Island Cruisers to the 2nd Harvest Food Bank of Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. December 7th Holiday Toy Drive generated a truck load of toys accepted by City of San Bernardino Fire Department, Station #5, Spark of Love Drive. The car show participants & hosting Car Clubs donated funds to the 2nd Harvest Food Bank. We have participated in the Yucaipa Lions Club Christmas Parade in 2007 and 2008. We won the Sweepstakes Trophy in 2008. We particpated in the City of San Bernardino 2009 4th of July Parade. Recently hosted the "Remembering Mikey Car Show" in memory of Mike Perez.
